§ 20-26. Truck loads causing litter; garbage transport vehicles.

  • (a)

    No person shall drive or move any truck or other vehicle within the town unless such vehicle is constructed or loaded so as to prevent any load contents or litter from being blown or deposited upon any street, alley, other public place, or private property. Nor shall any person drive or move any vehicle or truck within the town, the wheels or tires of which carry onto or deposit in any street, or other public place, mud, dirt, sticky substance, litter or foreign matter of any kind.

    (b)

    Every cart or vehicle used to transport manure, garbage, swill or offal on any highway in the town shall be fitted with a substantial tight box thereon, so that no portion of such filth will be scattered or thrown onto such highway.
