§ 22-148. Notice mailed.

On or about December 1 of each year, the town clerk shall mail a notice to people to whom, according to the records of the town, abandoned property with a value of $25.00 or more is apparently distributable. Such notice shall contain, at a minimum, a statement that:
(1)

Property is held by the town to which the addressee appears to be entitled; and

(2)

Any person claiming an interest in the property must file a proof of claim with the town clerk pursuant to this article.
