§ 24-47. Emergency authority to regulate the use of water for outdoor sprinkling.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, from time to time, whenever the board of trustees, in an official and regularly adopted resolution, makes an express finding that the municipal water supply resources are, or might become, limited or threatened by a shortage of supply, the board of trustees, by the further terms and provisions of said resolution, is authorized and empowered to further limit or curtail, or otherwise regulate, the use of municipal water for outdoor sprinkler to the extent and in such way as the board of trustees may decide to be necessary or appropriate.
