§ 2-83. Creation and purpose of office.

(a)

Pursuant to the authority of section 2-61, there is hereby created and established the position of town administrator.

(b)

The purpose of the office of town administrator is to provide for the centralization of the administrative responsibilities of the town, with such administrator to be the administrative head of the town government under the direction and control of the mayor and board and to be responsible to the mayor and board for the efficient conduct of the office.
